Waggintail Dachshunds

Sprig is our clear red piebald wirehair mini dachshund.  She is a really darling and sweet little girl.  She has an outstanding personality and is just our little goofy girl.  She is very pretty and has a beautiful top line and great legs and ears.  Her coat is not a really rough wire coat but it also is not a soft wire coat.  She loves most everyone and has a lot of fun hunting and exploring the world around her.

Sprig is the new mom of three beautiful puppies!  I am pretty sure that they will all be wirehair but we will have to wait to tell for sure.  They were born on Saturday, September 13th, 2008 and mom and puppies are doing great.  Daddy is our little wildboar wirehair male and he does not carry for piebald so the puppies are solid colors but will carry themselves for pie because mommy is piebald.  These are my first litter of wirehair puppies and I have not seen any wildboar puppies before at birth so I am learning and we will need to wait to make sure on the coloring of each puppy.
