Waggintail Dachshunds

Copper as a babby above and then below is copper now as an adult.  I need to get a better picture of him as he is a very beautiful little guy!

Copper is our shaded red male.  He is showing cream points and his mom has produced cream puppies so we are in hopes that he carries for cream as well.  He does for sure carry for piebald, and chocolate and he is a wonderful sweet and loving little guy who I just adore.  I call him Copper popper because he is always bouncing up and jumping into my arms when I ask him to.  He is just a bouncie little dachshund and he is just absolutely beautiful in confirmation and personality.  He has what any breeder would want in a male and he has produced some very nice puppies.

Coppers mom Penny has been breed to a cream male and has produced several litters with cream puppies in them.  So we are hoping that copper has carried that Cream gene through so that he will also be able to produce cream puppies when breed to a cream female or a female that carries cream.  We have not breed him to a female with those genes only once and she only had one puppy so we still are hoping that he will be able to produce cream puppies soon!
