Welcome to Waggintail Dachshunds!
We raise Quality Mini Dachshunds in Long, wire, and Smooth coats!
All of our dogs carry a variety of colors so that even though we do not have a large number of dogs we are able to produce a wide variety of colors and patterns. We specialize in producing top quality, well socialized, and good natured mini dachshunds. We can have red, black/tan, chocolate/tan, isabella/tan, and also English Creams. We can produce in these colors most of the wide variety of patterns as well. We have dapples, brindles, and piebalds, but we do not breed double dapples. We pride ourselves on having quality well socialized puppies and adult dogs. We give all of our animals lots of love and play with them daily when they are here. We are located in Central Utah about two hours south east of SLC, and we ship our puppies from Salt Lake Internatinal Airport for an additional charge.
Waggintail dachshunds is not a puppy mill, nor a large breeding kennel.
WE DO NOT SELL TO ANY PUPPY MILLS, PET STORES, OR LARGE BREEDING KENNELS!
We love each and every puppy and dog that we have and raise here and they are part of our family and are treated as well as any of our human family memebers.

I have had dachshunds for 23 years and have breed dogs on and off for 15 years and
I take great pride in my Dachshunds and the puppies that I raise. I do not have a large amount of dogs and I do not have puppies all of the time. I breed Dachshunds for my own pleasure as well as for the pleasure and companionshipthat it gives others to own one of these wonderful animals. Dachshunds are however not for everyone! They are very protective of their owners and they are devoted to the family that they belong to. They are strong willed and can be stuborn but if trained properly they are extremely wonderful family pets. They do shed but if brushed and cared for properly they are very manageable and easy to take care of. They must have a well balanced diet with high protien and food that has a lower fat content as they have a tendency to overeat which in turn can cause them to have disc problems in their backs. If taken care of and with proper weight control the back problems can usually be avoided and most can live long and healthy lives living up to an average of 12 to 18 years. Please take time to research the breed and make sure that they will fit the needs and wants of your family before you decide to purchase one. They are wonderful and I love the breed and that is why I have dedicated my life to them and producing them. If after you have done your research and decided that this is the breed for you then you need to decide on the perfect puppy. So take your time and browse around our site and see if we have that one special puppy for you. Please feel free to call me with any questions that you might have about the breed or anything that you find on my site. I am available to answer questions and help you to decide which puppy might be best for your family!
